I just upgraded from Joomla 1.0.X to Joomla 1.5. I am using the JA Edenite template and my domain is being hosted on Hostgator (http://www.ionicbilling.com).
1. How do I change the top menu to something other than what is reflected on my main menu? It is virtually the same links.
I have tried searching the forums for answers for days to get this to work and it so frustrating. I am average when it comes to using joomla.

May 12, 2008 at 6:58 pm #248824You have to create a brand new menu in your joomla cpanel and create the links. It automatically will be created as a module. Then you have to unpublish the top menu or right (whatever you want) and publish the brand new. This has a problem, yoy have to re-order all your modules to show them in the brand new menu.

I have a problem with my template, which I hope a quick help. This is about my logo at the top of the page. I have made the site more, but I can not move the logo right up …
Am I also a chance to make the logo bigger, so have it placed in the larger format of this template …?
My website is: http://www.wibergpartner.dk
My Template: EdeniteGreetings, Fortza – and in advance thanks for the help.

May 29, 2008 at 6:36 pm #251077Hi, I’m not an expert but I think you can modify the .css file. Go to templates/ja_edenite/css/template.css and search the following line:
h1.logo a {
width: 993px;
display: block;
background: url(../images/logo.jpg) no-repeat;
position: absolute;
height: 99px;
bottom: 0px;
left: 0;
}modify the “left” tag from 0 to whatever value (in px) you want your logo to be shown. For example: left: 300px;.
Tell me if this solves your problem.

June 20, 2008 at 8:34 pm #255057The size of your logo can be change here: templates/ja_edenite/css/template.css and search the following line:
h1.logo a {
width: 993px;
display: block;
background: url(../images/logo.jpg) no-repeat;
position: absolute;
height: 99px;
bottom: 0px;
left: 0;
}modify the “width” and “height:” tag from 0 to whatever value (in px) your logo has been designed. For example: width: 300px;.heigh: 200px;
About the slideshow please be more specific, I guess you cannot get it in the top, you must go to the Module Manager in your joomla administrator cpanel and search the “SlideShow” module (in the case you have used the quickstart installation) and select the position: topsl then check “yes” in Enabled option.
Tell me if this solves your problem.
