Hello. Due to the small size of the logo placeholder, I would like to have a different area to display the logo. I would like to display a logo/slogan in between the Menu Items and the Slideshow. I would prefer it run the same width as the homepage. I have attached a thumbnail pointing to the area.
Can I create a new module into this desired position and insert a new logo via Custom HTML module?
Or should I just move the margins down and display the logo/slogan as part of a background image?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

January 16, 2014 at 3:15 am #518621This tip would help: how to create a new module position
January 16, 2014 at 4:54 pm #518731Thanks for the link. I read over the documentation. I know I have to modify php files in the /tpls/blocks directory. Where I want the new position to be is located in the background area. I don’t know if I need to modify the mainbody.php file or another file? I am light on experience when it comes to php code.
Is it even possible to insert a new position where I have the arrows pointing to?
January 16, 2014 at 5:36 pm #518735I have attached a thumbnail showing the desired position for the new module. To create the space between the slideshow and megamenu I edited the template.css file here –
body {
background: #e5e5e5
color: #666
font-family: ‘Helvetica Neue’, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 13px;
line-height: 250px; (it was set for 20px)
margin: 0;
}However, this isn’t the most desirable way b/c it shoved down my Search box when I made the change to line-height
As always, thanks in advance!

January 17, 2014 at 10:10 am #518844Please try to use module class suffix to add specific style for your own module: http://docs.joomla.org/Using_Class_Suffixes#Module_Class_Suffix
And we recommend you to create a new CSS file named custom.css in folder: /templates/ja_fubix/css. This file will help to hold all your custom CSS code.
