Can anyone please help me, i am sure it’s just another file somewhere that i missed, and after hunting around for hours…………….
When i first installed this template i snooped around and got ready to set it up.
changed the logo to any old graphic to make sure i can do it, then urrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggg
I set the site up went into Templatecss.css via the template link in Joomla dmin and cannot find why or where to change the logo.
I have attached the section i have changed but the ratty old old logo refuses to move, so what have done wrong please.
I have read the forums, try looking for alternative searches to find the answer but after 15 years i think it might be time to ask someone

September 26, 2008 at 3:52 am #272390for an apropiate help can you give your url for preview your problem.
September 26, 2008 at 6:25 am #272400i can email you privately any details you like, license, domain etc, however i find it foolish that you would expect me to place all my details here for hackers to simply surf the net, see a relevent Joomla version i am running and know instantly if i am hackable.
Maybe either i should ask for support directly as this is such a simple thing to answer, either the changes need to be made in the file or there is another file
what do you think, would you like me to privately PM my whole life story so that you feel comfortable before telling me which file i need to change.
many thanks

September 26, 2008 at 7:05 am #272410i do not expect that you put all your details i think a url is one way for us to see what you really need. i am only a user(like yourself) but i like to share my experience knowledge and skills to other that are in need, not receiving payment for that, i do in the best spirit of the open source, the best spirit of joomla and the best spirit of a joomlart fan.
and the way you answer is pretty offensive disrespectful and very rude.
many other put their link to their works as this is a simple step to allow to see what you want to say.
if you think i am a hacker well simply bypass my questions.
good luck in your work1 user says Thank You to shertmann for this useful post
September 26, 2008 at 7:13 am #272413Hey if you trhink thats rude, you should hear my wife in the morning!!
I am sorry if i came across as rude, im English, maybe that explains it.
I had issues with another site and placed the URL and details for help ( i also love Joomla and have turned many people onto it) and ended up that the site was constantly hacked until i had to completely reinstall. which as i am a copy and paste artist and not a coder this was a nightmare, however at the same time a great learning curve.
I have read my reply and agree with you wholeheartly, and therefore shall apoliges again and take myself round the back of the building and beat myself until i understand PHP ( ha ha thats way to long)
I hope you have a great day
Sorry

September 26, 2008 at 7:54 am #272423well apologies acepted. and you make me laugh a lot with your’s wife joke. well the easy answer will be upload a image with the same name to the folder where the logo image is. that will fix that.
is weird that you can not change to another logo image.
if this uploading a diferent image with the same name solved your problem let me know.
good luck and always cry for help 😀 is good and always anybody will come in to your rescue

September 26, 2008 at 8:05 am #272427i make something like this but in mesolite template but have to remove the original header and put a flash animation so i have to invent me some hardcode trick in case that you have the same problem tell me and i will write you a universal recipe:)
September 26, 2008 at 8:18 am #272433man you are amazing i don’t deserve that level of help, funny enough i am trying to put a flash animation also, der  which you know from my earlier post.
I have uploaded a graphic in the same name and added it to every image directory in case i missed the plot as to where is goes as you suggested, still no different. The most annoying thing is that i already changed it originally. i have tried a different browser, eaten 2 fingers in frustration and feel like a silly sheep for appearing rude, hows you day so far?
Other than the file i have shown you do you know if there is:
1. another place ( file) to look at
2. a Tutorial on the forum regarding Logos and this template. This is the URL london___________casinosuk dot co dot uk/ index.php << it is a site i am building for my brothers friend.
I put it up like that because i did not want it to appear in the search engines.
I am now going to delete that file in all the directories and see what happens
URRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGG all over a silly picture

September 26, 2008 at 8:28 am #272435well it seems that the image is not loading then for proper loading process must be in this folder
templates/jajusticia/images/cituklogo.gif if you put the image in this folder then must show up, but appears that the image is not in this folderSeptember 26, 2008 at 8:30 am #272437ah ha FOUND IT
Basically because i was using the red template that need to be chnaged not the default, saying that the permisssions need to be altered to allow this.
