look in the template.css file for this code at line 1106
/* Logo Image —*/
h1.logo { height: 92px; margin: 0 auto; width: 135px; }

h1.logo a {
background: url(../images/logo.png) no-repeat left;
display: none;
height: 92px;
width: 135px;
}

Change the sizes listed there to suit your banner, then replace the logo.png image in the templatesimages folder with your banner, be sure to name the replacement to logo.png to suit the css
