I have changed the background color of the default template – sort of. It would not let me save the changes to the default template. I had to make a new theme and save. Now I wanted to change the size of the template logo so I changed it in the template.css. Nothing happened. It changed the logo size on the default template but not the new theme. Where do I find the css for the new theme.

Your T3 is confusing and has a serious lack of documentation. It would be better to forget the bells and whistles and focus on ease of use.

The first thing people will want to do is change the logo – why is it so hard.

    I am not happy.

Okay I found the settings. They were hidden in the file /ja_mero/less/variables.less.

I knew they had to be somewhere. I searched the database and nothing. Then I searched the less folder.

    Not very user friendly.

    Hello Jgkiefer

In order to change logo size, please follow this link: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/logo-size-customizing-the-background-image/#post-475914

I wonder when you edited your file, what development mode did you set ? If you set ‘No’ then edit in file template.css, But I recommend you to edit in the custom.css file, won’t be lost after you recompile LESS to CSS. If ‘Yes’, then edit in file ‘variables.less’.

I understand your feeling, Joomla 3.x and our new version JAT3V3 framework – developed to work with Joomla 3.x – use Less & Bootstrap which is quite new to many joomla users. If possible, please point out part in our template making you confusing or part we should update in our documents. We always welcome all of your feedback. It’s really helpfull to our products and much appreciated.
