Why does the logo.psd file not allow you to edit JA DROID ? It only allows you to edit the tagline?
Is there another file?
Thanks

Hi mixx,
Are you using photoshop to open the psds file. If you do, there are many, many layers, and there you will find the one you need to edit. If you look at the bottom of all the layers, you will find layer 132 and 132 copy. These are the ones where you find JA DROID. Good luck!
September 10, 2010 at 4:46 pm #355140I see those 2 layers but the text has been rasterized. It’s no longer editable.

September 10, 2010 at 5:07 pm #355144I see what you mean. Can you just add your own text?
September 10, 2010 at 5:15 pm #355146Of course, but it kind of defeats the purpose of having a ‘source’ file if I just need to create my own!??

September 10, 2010 at 5:19 pm #355147You are so right, mixx,
A couple years ago when I first started off here at Joomlart, they also had source files, but just a couple of the files or pictures, not all, like they do now, so they have made great progress, but this is something they should think of, making copies of the text layers before they rasterize them, so they can be used much easier by those of us who want to use the same fonts or colors or filters, or whatever. It is hopefully something they will do in the future.
October 1, 2010 at 9:09 am #357302I dont know if this has been sorted in the latest download version, but I have modified the logo just fine. both logo text and tagline.
Im using Photoshop cs4. I also loaded the included font(in the source file) first , so maybe you have to install the fonts first?
