Try to open the css file at line 827:

h1.logo a {
background: url(../images/logo.png) no-repeat;
bottom:10px;
display:block;
height:50px;
left:0;
position:absolute;
width:235px;
}
And change the height here.

would also like to know as my css for the header is like this
h1.logo a {
width: 235px;
display: block;
background: url(../images/logo.gif) no-repeat;
position: absolute;
height: 70px;
bottom: 10px;
left: 0;

but if you change the height, will it not just be overlapped by the JS slideShow???????
