Me again::((
thegatorbyte.com
My students have developed another variation on their logo–longer than height.
When I followed the above instructions–nothing will appear.
Here is my code:
/* HEADER
——————————————————— */
#ja-headerwrap {
}#ja-header {
height:80px;–>2 px larger than image height
line-height: normal;
position: relative;
}h1.logo, h1.logo-text {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
font-size: 300%;
}h1.logo a {
width:400px;
display: block;
background: url(../images/gator_byte_e.png) no-repeat;
position: absolute;
float:left;
height:78px;
margin-top:1px;
margin-bottom:1px;}
h1.logo a span {
position: absolute;
top: -1000px;
}h1.logo-text a {
outline: none;
position: absolute;
top: 15px;
left: 5px;
letter-spacing: 1px;
font-weight: bold;
}p.site-slogan {
margin: 0;
padding: 1px;
color: #999999;
position: absolute;
top: 52px;
left: 15px;
letter-spacing: 1px;
}/*Head Tools*/
#ja-headtools {
top: 25px;–>does this affect the space for the logo?
right: 0;
position: absolute;
border: 1px solid #FFFFFF;
}#ja-headtools:hover,
#ja-headtools.hover {
border: 1px solid #CCCCCC;
background: #F7F7F7;
}#ja-headtools .ja-innerpad {
position: relative;
padding: 5px;
float: left;
}#ja-headtools ul {
margin: 0;
padding: 3px 0 0;
float: left;
white-space: nowrap;
}#ja-headtools li {
margin: 0;
padding: 0 8px;
display: inline;
background: url(../images/vline.gif) no-repeat right center;
line-height: normal;
}#ja-headtools li a {
}What have I missed here?
They want to “unveil” their creation tomorrow, so I am a little hysterical here.
Thanks for any suggestions.

October 28, 2008 at 4:26 pm #277289October 29, 2008 at 11:05 pm #277467You were right. For some reason I don’t understand, Quickstart installed TWO Template folders with Teline/Image folders.
Naturally, I was uploading my logo to the wrong folder!
Nasty bit of confusion, but now I know to be careful. I am afraifd to delete the redundant folder because I don’t know if some of those files might be in use.
Thanks again for the help. Just needed a reality check.

October 29, 2008 at 11:17 pm #277468it is not redundant. each color variant as its own associated grahics folder
download some from each folder and you will see they are different colors
