Good evening guys and girls.

I want to change my site so that when you click on the logo, it goes to url.com as opposed to url.com/index.php

I googled and added a suggested redirect to my .htaccess file but it gave me an internal server error.

Can anyone tell me how to change the logo URL please. I really want to cut down on duplicate content.

when you rename your htaccess.txt to .htaccess you must set the Use URL rewriting to Yes from your Global configuration

What exact code would you put in teh htaccess file so that url.com/index.php would redirect to just url.com?

Hi

You must put this line of code in the .htaccess file

RewriteEngine On

Anyway if you search on google some .htaccess example you can learn many type of configurations of the htaccess
