Hi there,

I was trying to set up a new profile/and layout, but for some reason was unable to select the pages. In playing around with things, I somehow lost the ability to manage my template manager, and can’t do anything in there.:((

Would someone take a look for me.

Hey have you not done a backup before playing around, restoring that is better and less frustrating than trying to solve puzzles.
Have you recently used the update feature to grab something newer? Without more info access etc. we can only try to eliminate porssible causes, but try this. Go to Extensions/Extension Manager try the ‘Database /Fix item.

Then one by one try the other options such as Discover (purge cache first) Discover then install any that appear. Of course try the Update/purge cache/find updates /install any

I’m hoping any corruption in a db will be solved by database option, any extension or admin template probs will be solved by the others. Not a lot more I can suggest at this time

Hi Shannon,

I am so bad… I start working on something new and get so into it, hours disappear into thin air… day turns to night and I’m oblivious to it, and not to mention- I forget to create backups. I really need to start using Akeeba with their auto-backup feature.

A kind (and forgiving), soul has solved the issue for me.

I’m relieve you solved the problem, I hear what you’re saying re: head down bottom up web design, I’m lucky if I come up for food every 6 hrs!
