I am a bit confused. I re-did that graphic, but now it doesn’t appear. Any ideas?

I want to add a custom graphic into that far lower left position. Is the bg html color or a gif? I thought it was this <sub-logo.gif> but after editing it, it doesn’t show up. There is a chance that I may (forgetful as I am!) have edited the HTML or CSS when I first got the template and somehow broke this….
