I’m using the Magazine layout.

In that layout, there’s a block with featured articles.
I don’t want to use that, but want to put there an image.

I can’ t figure out what position that is or how i can get the image on that spot.

Anybody who knows?

Hi
Magazine layout is used for the content (articles) . To check the module positions , you can open the menu and check the template style .
Go to template manager > open template style > Layout . you can see all module positions there .

I know, but that’s the problem.

The position where the featured ‘articles’ are placed, isn’t documented.
I have no idea how i can put something on this spot.

Check the screenshot. It’s marked with an X

Found it out myself:

Go to: /templates/purity_iii/html/com_content/category/magazine_featured.php
line 79:
<?php echo JLayoutHelper::render(‘joomla.content.intro_image’, $item); ?>

Remove this line.

That’s it.
