I am trying to add the CCboard forum to my site. I encountered a 404 error and contacted the developer. He suggested that I change the path in the menu link to the full path. However, when I go to Magazine and try and change the Link it appears to be locked. In other words, I am unable to change this path.

Any suggestions on how I can change the Link path?

Update:

(I am not sure how or why the component is suddenly working but it is. I think it may have something to do with SEO. I am letting the developer know. If there is any more pertinent info I will post)

Can you try this:

Sign in to your Administrator

Tools => Global Check in

then go back to see what happens. This worked with files that were checked out because I was not able to save it before I was logged out. I am not sure if it works with your situation to.

Menalto was the one who taught me that trick, so find a way to thank him.

I tryed your method without results.

I couldn´t sent to trash the menu. The only way is unpublish it….:confused:

Before you can delete in the magazine menu, you have to delete in the Section or Category. I believe I had the same problem. So, for now I just unpublish them. One of the issues I have not sent as a ticket (or bug) to Joomlart.
