I know Joomla and versions reasonably well, but not Magento. Looking at your first page of Magento themes if I go into the demos I see that some say for Magento 1.7, others some version of 1.6 and further along, some have no version information at all.

Since 1.7 seems to be the current Magento, how do I know which older themes will work with 1.7?

Or say we choose one such as Feronis which is 1.6+, is the upgrade to 1.7 reasonably easy and is the template compatible?

Hi bobmeetin,

Our JM templates are all upgraded to version 1.6. We are working to upgrade them to 1.7, however it may take sometimes to do so. Though you can try to upgrade this to 1.7, it would work as well with some unexpected errors that we haven’t detected yet.
