Hi Everyone

Very strange problem and I’m not sure if it’s Template/Joomla/Other cause?

The problem occurs when using the ‘mail article’ icon:

First of all, if I’m in site as a ‘guest’ user, and not logged in.

I open an article and click the mail icon.

I fill in all the details (as shown above and click on ‘Send’) and I receive the following message:

Everything is OK and I receive an e-mail with the article link.

Secondly, I log into the site and try the same thing.

Again, I open the article and click ‘mail’ icon. System fills in ‘Sender’ and ‘Your e-mail’ fields, I fill out the rest then click ‘Send’:

Mail fails with the following error:

Does anybody have any idea whatsoever where to start looking to try and fix this?

PS, I can’t be 100% certain, but I’m sure this worked before I upgraded to J 1.5.7?

what type mail config do you use ? php mailer or SMTP server ?

I checked in Global Configuration and I’m currently using “PHP Mail Function”

Although, I can’t see why this would affect ‘non-registered’ or ‘registered’ users?
