I’m working on the site but http://www.new-link/joomla.
I have several problems in the template:

1) How do you define which content to show how “main content” (those with the date highlighted by colored circle) and what structure should the column? (structure of the blog, main, number of intro articles, number of links)?

2) I can not display the contents in the “absolute”, why?

1. You need to specify that information in the menu item itself.. depending on the menu type, category blog / featured blog specified number of articles will be shown from the categories you select in specified number of columns by specified order (latest, oldest etc)..

2. did not understand your question. Can you please clarify? Please provide your site url and explain the issue with reference to that..
