Since a couple of weeks the issue is that the main content menu overlaps the right column.
I don’t know what causes this to happen.
I didn’t make any changes to the code of what soever. I only installed modules and components.

the url is of the site is http://asc.leisb.org.

I use the template Ja Purity and i work with IE7. For a couple of weeks al worked perfect as i said before, but after publishing an article (i believe) things went wrong. Can an article be the problem of this issue?

The problem is the massive image you’ve placed in one of your articles… http://asc.leisb.org/images/stories/peinzenden%20basisscholieren%20tijdens%20het%20toernooi.gif.

What did you use to edit your articles? It’s very messy HTML.

    Hi Scotty,

Thanks for your reply to my question.
I have deleted the picture in the article you mentioned.
I also deleted some picture in other articles, also with some large pictures in it.
After refreshing the site the problem still is the same.
To make the articles i (we) use the standard component of joomla to edit articles.
I have also installed the component mXcomment; when people make articles via the frontend it is this component (i believe) the get to create an article.

If you have any further ideas i am pleased to hear them.

    kind regards, Eric

    Hi Scotty,

I think you where right; the problem is solved. the article is no longer behind the right menu. Thanks!
The thing that remains is that i stil have a horizontal scrollbar; do you also have a solution for this!?

    kind regards, Eric

    Hi Scotty,

This is my third reply to your solution.
In the template manager i can adjust the template wide to (auto fluid (the current value), small, in percentage, pixel). If i use ‘small’ then the problem occurs again. Perhaps there is something wrong with the template!?

    kind regards, Eric

No there’s nothing wrong with the template. You just have to make sure that your content is able to ‘wrap’ to the next line and not push the content area in to the adjacent column. Images of course can’t wrap so if you put one in that’s to big then you’ll have problems. The same does for wide div’s.
