I faced one problem , maybe someone can help me. I want to add logo to my website, but i can’t seperate "head-search" and "mainmenu" blocks. Logo must be in right side of website. I want that logo will be in the top and mainmenu below him. I have add pictures of my pages and layout.

So that we can try to best assist you, please provide the url of the site you’re working on, as well as temporarily set "Optimize CSS" to "Off" within your Template Manager–General settings.

Is there any particular reason you decided not to go the quickstart + sample data installation process from the start?

No , I just choose this way . It will better or easier with quickstart + sample data installation ?

Well, the benefit of the quickstart + sample data installation is that you don’t have to try to "re-invent the wheel" and figure out everything from scratch. I find it MUCH easier to start with a virtual clone of the demo site, and then "work backwards" from there modifying things.
