I have an issue I am trying to solve. I would like to have a seperate html page with only the ja_edenite header horizontle main menu on it. I would like to do this so I can have a blog coded below the main menu, not wrapped into the joomla system. I looked at the php code in index.php and allready tried to add the full path to the css files and other relevent files, but as you can see, this is what I have so far:

It looks like I might be able to get this to work, because in the past, when I lost the css file due to ftp transfer issues, the template looked like it does on this page. Is it at all possible to have the main menu “horizontal navigation bar” to display on another html page? Please help Joomlart!!:)

Yes thats possible.
One thing you cant do is to get the menus to update automatic when you change or add it in the joomla backend.

Thanks for the reply. I put in a request to change my primary domain from videoactivemediasolutions to videoafx.com a few days ago. The domain to this website is http://www.videoafx.com. I would be fine with having to re-code the main menu everytime I needed an update. How could I impliment the main menu onto another page without modules and everything else. Thanks!

Hello.
It´s maybe not the right place to ask, I am not as well-versed in the FAQ – hope nevertheless that someone can help.
I have right now to “Main Menu” / Mainmanu …. one on the left and a topmenu. I will not run with two identical menus, I would only have my topmenu. How can disabler the “Hovedmenu” / mainmenu at the left site ..?
