Hi Guys.

i have added some new menus in the main menu however when i hover over the new menu the green tick is not added on the image like in the demo version.

how can i make it so that the green tick also shows on new created menu’s

read below but this is kinda solved, for exra menu icons you need to create your own sprite images. thanks guys

Hi twixyco,

when creating a new menu item, go to Parameters (System) on the bottom-right side of that page, and select the menu image there.

Dear Mark.

thank you for your reply, however i have added the image but the tick is stll not there. when i change the demo images for example the home image and i now put the EURO image there the tick is not there.

it is like this tick is being called from somehere else and is not image related.

please let your thoughts ru on this a bit more.

Now i understand what you are trying to accomplish.

For your new item, you need to create a sprite image like this one:

As you can see, the upper part of the image is displayed when it’s in inactive – off state, and the lower part when that menu item is active – on state.

After you create the image for the new menu item, upload it to your site_root/images/stories/ directory and then assign it to the new menu item as described in my first post.

Dear Mark,

yes i see that does work but now we have to edit all the icon to make the image alike. are they not availibl for all icons?

No, every menu item has it’s own sprite image, as you can see in your images directory.
