It appears the latest version of Kunena forum software uses Joomla menus for it’s menu system. So I’d like my “forum” link to stay highlighted when in the menu items of the Kunena menu. I have created a menu alias link that works in a few other test themes but it doesn’t work with any of the menu options in JA-Social. The main menu isn’t highlighted when the forum menu items are selected.
You can see in action at http://galaxytablettalk.com
Thanks for any pointers on how to get this to work.

November 29, 2010 at 9:38 am #364659Hello
Now, please try testing this again: you disable SEF: and then check the forum link: have it got the hightlight acitve?, if have, so the probelm is from the alias conflicted, you need to change current by other alias.
If the problem is not fixed, provide me the link administrator account, i would like to check the issue in detail
ThanksNovember 30, 2010 at 4:13 am #364777I disabled all SEF. I tried the forum link again and no change, non-SEF url’s don’t hepl fix the problem.
I’ll send you the login, thanks.

December 3, 2010 at 4:02 am #365174interesting… I didn’t know my account was using an old email, should have tried that. Thanks!
The first ticket opened was already automagically closed. The new ticket has my server information on it (#ZQH-710-11150) if you want to take a look and see what might be going on.

Hi trungch,
How to fix this issue? I using the latest jatc_t3_blank_j15, Kunena 1.6.1 and to change the code at ../administrator/components/com_kunena/elements/kunenacategories.php:
30 line:
$options [] = JHTML::_ ( ‘select.option’, ‘0’, $none ? JText::_ ( $none ) : ‘ ‘ );
to:
$options [] = JHTML::_ ( ‘select.option’, ”, $none ? JText::_ ( $none ) : ‘ ‘ );
But it can not work.
