Hi,

I have no idea why all of the menu item not work when it has assigned menu item type is Category Blog or Category List.

For example:
Menu id: 53,57,189,190,222,928…

Can you help a check for us?

could u disable the flang settings on site and re-check this issue , The menu items are multi language but using All languages .And check it with default Joomla template , if it also giving 404 there is problem in your multi-language settings .

Hi,

It seem only the Mainmenu issues. Is it possible restore the default mainmenu data on our database server?

Hoknight I suggest you to re create the menu items if its happens only for the particular menu item id that u shared , Its might DB issue in your Joomla . Re-storing the database may solve the problem but can not assure as it seems to be issue in Joomla .
Re-create the menu item will be more easy then restoring DB.
