Main Menu text verses Page Title?

    How is the demo configured to display main menu text descriptions and have them not appear as the page title when that menu is selected? Are you customizing your index.php used in the demo to display a static page title instead of pulling information from this System Parameters?

    I’m running 1.5 and installed the quickstart. I’ve changed the Page Title field under Parameters (System) as the guide indicates and I cannot replicate how your demo behaves.

    The first link is displaying frames. So the page title you are seeing, Joomart.com, is the page title of the framed page not the frame itself.

    I didn’t think of that…

    I did place a <title> tag in the index.php right after the first <head> tag that seems to override everything. I couldn’t find where the title is actually declared, but this seems to work.

    Your title is processed by libraries/joomla/document/html/renderer/head.php
