Hi all,
I moved main menu from position 1 to position 7, and after that, menu items won’t collapse, as when it was on position1.
I checked in module settings, "show sub-menu" is on. When I checked in firebug, menu items is there, but it won’t collapse to show items. Thanks in advance!

January 9, 2018 at 2:58 am #1085689Hi,
If you assign the menu module for the ‘Main menu’ to position-7 position, you should change the same in the ‘Navigation Left’ option in template manager of JA Simpli template: http://prntscr.com/hxuxyq

January 9, 2018 at 12:45 pm #1085812Saguaros, thank you for the reply.
When I change as you told me, I messed up whole page, my main menu appears on the slider, on the "navigation right position", and main manu duplicated it’s self, on the navigation right, and on the sidebar 1-position 7.
Thanks in advance!

January 11, 2018 at 4:40 am #1086239Hi,
I just checked homepage of your site and the menu functions correctly: http://prntscr.com/hytpxh
Is that ok now?
January 11, 2018 at 6:13 am #1086246Saguaros,
as I said already, when menu is on position 1, everything works OK, but when I moved menu on position 7, or create a new one, and put it there, sub menu items wont show, even Show Sub-menu Items is turned on in module settings.
You can see that if you login in backend.

January 12, 2018 at 6:50 am #1086462Hi,
I just tried to create a menu module and assign to ‘position-2’ position and assign it to the Navigation Left in template manager: http://prntscr.com/hzbpgw
And it’s showing fine: http://prntscr.com/hzbq5e
Could you share screenshot?
January 12, 2018 at 8:07 am #1086478Thanks m8,
but I think that you don’t understand where is the problem.
Menu don’t showing sub menu items, anywhere except on position 1, and that is the problem. You can also see that, since you duplicated main menu and put it on different position then position 1.
You can see that on my print screen…
Thanks in advance!

January 12, 2018 at 8:34 am #1086483I got your point, the style is for the main navigation only.
On your print screen, it will be the normal menu module display, it can not have the same style with the main menu’s style. To achieve that, you will have to customize JS/CSS.

January 12, 2018 at 12:27 pm #1086513I understand that it can not have same style, I just wanna to show sub menu items, on click or on hover. But as you said, it is impossible without customization.
I’m really sorry that this is not possible, maybe this is for the request for new template update.Saguaros ModeratorSaguaros

January 15, 2018 at 4:34 am #1086707Hi,
It’s default feature as Joomla menu module. You can customize with JS/CSS or seek for a suitable menu extension which supports that feature.
