    Hi There,

I switched my t3_blank template to t3_bs3_blank. I was having trouble upgrading the blank template and with the menu not dropping down when using t3_blank. However, I liked the orange css in the t3 blank and some of the other css items (such as design of the read more) in the t3 blank so I added a a lot of the css of the blank to a custom css for the bs3_blank template.

Now, my problems are I would like the search to display in my mainnav and it is not. And the mainnav is too fat. As well, There is not enough space between my articles on the front page.

    Thank you,

    Antje

    Hi Antje,

Did you also add the search module into mainnav in t3_blank template? as by default, we assign search module into ‘head-search’ position.

Would like it to look like this:

That’s where I’d like the search when I use head-search the search blocks the logo.

In the blank template I assigned the search module to the mainnav and it worked/displayed. I do the same using the blank_bs3 template and it is not displaying.

Could you post URL of site you’re using with that blank template?
