Installed ja_uvite at clients request and it works fine in Firefox, Opera, Safari but not IE6 or IE7 – haven’t tried IE8 but would assume the same. Site is running Joomla 1.5.9 on a Linux server.

The site is set to the blue colour theme but in IE it will default to violet and the template breaks.

I’ve investigated but cannot see anything which might affect it and tried disabling various plugin to no effect.

Does anyone have any idea what is causing this?

Problem tracked to Highslide front page module. Disabled whilst investigating further.

I am sorry for my delay.

I have checked your website and saw that the website included a file: http://www.moonmodule.com/cs/ccm_fl.js

This file is cause the website to breaking in IE.

Please try to fint this extensions and disable it.
