I’m trying to make the text field in the Jobkseeker/employer registration forms show up as a text area rather than just a single line text box.

Ive found the field in the “form customizations” page in the back end but the bit to select text area seems to be greyed out.

How can I modify this?

Second – Can I add tags into a user registration welcome email, so that the new user is reminded of there username and password?

If so what are the tags I need to add in.

1. Change field type:
– In the attach picture: You can set to “Text area” in Filed Type value
– Click to “Save”
– After that, you can see the “Rebuild DB” link on the bottom, click on that link, and click “Continue” to done your work.

2. Welcome email
– After registered successfull, Joomla system have an email sent to registered user with account information.
– JAJobBoard have well come email send to user also, your can customize that email via:
+ For JobSeeker: http://www.register4work.co.uk/administrator/index.php?option=com_jajobboard&view=jaemail&task=edit&cid[]=11
+ For Employer: http://www.register4work.co.uk/administrator/index.php?option=com_jajobboard&view=jaemail&task=edit&cid[]=12
