Hello everyone. I want to make 3 search modules in 3 languages. I want to have an English, a Greek and a Russian search module, each one in every language of the site. I created two extra fields for items for every language, price and a square meters (m²). I created three modules and i assigned them in the home page of every language. The problem is that i want the extra search fields of every language to be shown in the same language search module. Now the only thing i can do is to have one language extra fields assigned in all 3 modules no matter the language they have. Can anyone help?

No. Let me explain you. I want to create a 3 languages real estate site (in Greek, in Russian, in English). I create 3 extra field groups (“additional info” for English site, “Επιπρόσθετες πληροφορίες” for Greek site, “Дополнительная информация” for Russian site). Then i create 2 extra fields for every extra field group (“price” “m²” for English, “τιμή” “εμβαδό” for Greek, “Цена” “Площадь” for Russian). The extra field groups are used inside the items for each language item. Then i want to create 3 search modules, each for every different language site. The English search module should have “price” “m²” as search parameters, the Greek “τιμή” “εμβαδό” and the Russian “Цена” “Площадь”. But i don’t know how to do it. In the “JA K2 Search Plugin for Joomla 2.5” in the select extra field option shows all 6 extra fields i created, 2 for Greek language, 2 for English and 2 for Russian. The problem is that you can assign only from one extra field group (either Greek, or Russian, or English) the extra fields. And then the search module is the same for every language site that uses the same extra field search parameters (for example if you have chosen the greek extra fields from the “JA K2 Search Plugin for Joomla 2.5“, the greek extra fields will be search parameters for all language sites search modules. Can i create three different search modules, and every module should have different extra fields parameters? Please help!!!!!!!!!

In the module setting you would see a field name Override plugin configuration, if you select this field to yes then a list of extra field group would show up give you the ability of selecting extra fields that you want for this specific module.

Doing that for three your modules and each module would has it own extra fields as you wished 🙂
