Hello, I tried using various css solutions ( such as: http://www.cssstickyfooter.com/, http://ryanfait.com/resources/footer…ottom-of-page/ or http://matthewjamestaylor.com/blog/k…om-of-the-page ) to modify the part of the footer to stay at the bottom of the site we are building using puresite but i didn’t manage to get it working.
Can anyone help me to configure/modify the layout so that the bottom part always stays at the bottom, but does not overlap the main content? (just as in the mentioned examples of cssstickyfooter.com.)
    Thanks

    Hi molodev,

Can you explain a little bit more detail what you want for the bottom area ?

There seems to be problems with your bottoms area, I took a look at the demo of JA puresite and I am seeing that the bottom part stays at the bottom.

Can you share with us your url where the problem is being seen 🙂

Hello Sherlock Holmes and thanks a lot for your quick reply.

The problem with the bottom is that when the main part does not contain a lot, the bottom bar appears just under the main part and not at the bottom of the page.

the link to the site’s contact page, where you can see what i mean: http://lolacalteux2.molotov.lu/index.php/contact

    Hi molodev,

Sorry for this late reply, I just took a look at your contact page http://lolacalteux2.molotov.lu/index.php/contact and did not see the problem there, I checked it in firefox, let me know if the issue is still there.

Hello and thanks for your answer.
Yes it is still there, you have to have a high resolution to see the same result than on the added picture from my last post.

    Hello Sherlock,

    I’m using a 27 inch (as my client is too). Resolution: 2560 x 1440.
If you control/cmd scroll on your mouse, you also can see what happens.
Until I can find out how to adapt a sticky bottom to the template, I’m gonna use a min-height for the main part so that it uses at least 750px.
    Thnaks again for your help.

    Hi molodev,

The fix of a min-height for the main part can be consider a good solution, I will try to check more and i hope could see the problem out one day 🙂

    Hi,
I put my question in this thread because I have the same problem.
If you go to my site : http://www.lescheveuxdechloe.fr/
but alsoin all the pages like http://www.lescheveuxdechloe.fr/index.php/le-salon

the footer is in the top
I ve tried many css possibilities
for exemple to put the footer in absolut position, bottom 0 but in this case the problem is that if the content is lon the bottom is over the text.
    I have tried also min-height for ja-content …
    I don’t find an issue …

I would like to fix it like in this site :
    http://livedemo00.template-help.com/wt_38913/index.html#!/pageHome

    thanks for your help
