You need to apply custom style on the this to make it as on Joomlart website.
You can use firebug or inspect element from browser to check the style and apply it on your site via custom.css file.

Hi
Custom.css file is used to define new style code and to override the css code.
http://www.t3-framework.org/documentation/bs3-customization#custom-css

You have to check the style code using firebug and then apply the style code on your site using firebug to check style class.

it seems you have not applied for any custom work in the menu as i suggested. You have to apply for custom work in css to apply the custom style.

If you will hide the text it will hide the title too, this is why i already suggested it needs custom work here

if you are not familiar with customisation you can hire a developer who can design the search same like on JA main site or you can simply use Joomla menu option to hide the title and add your icon image for search menu here : http://prntscr.com/gv1629
