Thanks! I did download this module, and it works really well…once I realized that user6 needed more than one module to be assigned to it in order for it to show up!

July 23, 2008 at 6:31 pm #261802Joomla! is not built to do what you are wanting to do…yet.
HOWEVER…there are third-party modules that will do this.
Here’s a free one:

John.September 22, 2008 at 3:08 am #271628Hi,
Thanks for this. It’s been awhile, but I’ve finally did as you suggested and downloaded and installed that place here module. My understanding is that you make a copy of that module for each thing that you want to put in a particular place? In any case, I have one copy of that module, I gave it the placeholder of user6, put my blog section id number in that module parameters, but it doesn’t seem to have done anything. My understanding is that anything posted to my blog section would show up in the user6 area, but that’s not what’s going on. I’m very confused.

Hi Jen,
I do not grasp what you are trying to achieve, but that may be my shortcoming, not yours. If you provide an illustration of what you want to achieve, those with more technical expertise may be able to help you.
Also, what module are you talking about?
