Hi there,

I just bought a plugin called “Component Loader” which says it will allow components to be loaded within another component. Im trying to get a forum to show inside my k2 items so I think this will work great..

I just cant seem to use it yet, and they say its because I dont have a position in my k2 to load it to…

I asked if I can I just use {loadposition blabla} but they said I will need to create a position in my template instead…

Thats where I get stuck!!

They mentioned something about loading a position below the k2 Commenting position (which I also had to disable) and that it will probably be in the index.php

Can anybody talk me through this!?

Hi Katie,

To load a module inside an article, I think the simple way is creating a custom HTML module and give the module a custom position then add this code inside the article editor:
{loadposition xxx}
xxx = the custom position.

It maybe beyond of my knowledge but I don’t know other method (which simpler than above one) to create a new position inside k2 item.

Did you try to post a thread to K2 forum? they may have some advice for this.
