June 9, 2013 at 7:48 am #188094Dear support,
I have the following issues (which I consider major) with the ja_mendozite template.1. I use multilingual content with Greek (default) and English languages. 6 out of 10 refreshes (F5 button) redirect to the english version of the displayed page. This is frustrating because there is no one-to-one association yet for all pages. It also happens when I have the language switcher module disabled.
This happens even when I am on the initial home page, from any browser and any computer. The site is:
http://palladion2.artemis.my-portal.gr/2. The mega menu is very difficult to customize. The corresponding CSS is so complex especially for the level1 menu (submenu). I have problems doing the following (among others)
a) set the height of the level1 buttons
b) Adjust the level0 menu items’ width so that the menu expands to the 100% of the page width.
c) I try to set the “grad.png” as the background of the whole menu bar, so that after the last menu item, the remaining width is filled with the same background as the items. But this only works on Chrome. All other browsers (safari, opera, firefox, ie) show a white space…3. I set the “Article Options -> Show Title” option to Hide, for a specific article and it does not override the default value which is “Show”. As I have more than 50 articles already it is very difficult for me to try any workaround.
On global article items you say that “These settings apply for article layouts unless they are changed for a specific menu item.”
I tested that and it is working, but then when is the option inside the each article used?Thank you for your time.

June 10, 2013 at 9:12 am #495308Hi,
1) You can config option System – Language Filter In Plugin
It always show language site setting(default) on your site.
2) About css in Mega menu you can change it here: templates/ja_mendozite/css/menu/mega.css
3) About show title in Article, joomla only supports two options:
+ From Article Manager and set Show Title each article or from Article Manager Options
+ From Menu item appears with each Article.

June 10, 2013 at 11:54 am #495332Thanks for the response, but:
1. I have the correct configuration already.
However the site loads the English version quite often, especially if you press the F5 (refresh). It is very frustrating. Please check for yourself
2. I know where the configuration file is, but it is very difficult to follow.
3. I know were to make these changes. But the option inside a specific article does not overwrite the global value…
Please have a look regarding the multilingual issue. The site is suposed to go live in the following days and I can’t find a solution.
Regards
