Can anyone help me figure out why when a user creates an item with extra fields for mapping. that the coordinates of longitude and latitude do not show up in the right area?

Steps:
1) Create test item.
2) Under extra field, enter any coordinates for Longitude and Latitude.
3) Publish item
4) View menu (breeders map) to see the location is not where it should be.

(view item titled TEST for example. latitude and longitude are for Palm Springs California, but it shows up in China. Coordinates are verified by google maps to be correct, but it does not display correct on ja_directory)

Thank you. I found the problem was the site I was using gave coordinates that were only about 4 characters long, though having absolute full length coordinates makes it work. Thank you! Sorry for multiple post
