I am thinking about using Nordite for my new website and I am very frustrated right now. I am looking for a map of all the module positions available in the drop-down box when you install a module. The only map I can find doesn’t show all the module positions (i.e. it has User 8-15 (minus 13), but no User 1-7).

Is there a map to all module positions for the T3 framework? If so, where is it?

Here is the T3 layout you requested.

Norite is a different animal than most templates as we have mashed in the great K2 content
    http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/news-production/content-construction/8061

And finally to see all of the module positions built into Norite, outside of K2, please add “index.php?tp=1” to the end of your domain.
For instance: http://templates.joomlart.com/ja_norite/index.php?tp=1 will show you the module position using our demo. This little built in code works on all Joomla templates.

    Have fun!

What I was hoping is that you would have something like they have here: http://demo.rocketttheme.com/?template=juxta under Features/Module Positions

That kind of a module position map is very helpful. What else is helpful, and I can’t seem to find here is a list of all the applicable suffix’ you can attach to a module position. Kind of like they do here: http://demo.rocketttheme.com/?template=juxta, under Features/Module Variations.

Ok, that’s pretty cool, but really hard to read. It would be ever so much nicer if you had a graphic of all the module positions and one with all the module positions with applicable suffix’s.

    Hi Katie
Try this one, I agree the ?tp=1 method looks really hard to read, this is a better one. http://www.joomlart.com/templates_club/club_portfolio/ja-norite.html

    Katie,

First thanks to Shannon for his suggestion, but I think that is the one you were seeing without the User 1-4.

You are correct, Joomlart doesn’t have such a graphic where everything is shown in one place but it is something we definitely should, I believe. Let me run this up the pole and see what we can do for not only this template, but the rest in our collection as well.

    Have a great weekend.

Haven’t used Norite for anything yet, but are you saying JA has put up a wrong module map for this template, given your reply re: user 1-4?

Not a wrong graphic…just not complete. The graphic it has doesn’t show where User 1-4 are located because there is no content in User 1-4 in that demo page.

All positions collapse if not used, of course.

    Thanks John
On that graphic I don’t see the 1- 4, which is already discussed, number 5, 6, 7 or 13, given I would expect there are a total of 15 different positions available if user 15 is the highest listed postition.

Can you run it by JA to supply a graphic listing all available positions in a template as well as suffix’s, I always have problems identifying all available hilites/suffix in templates
    Cheers Shannon
