    Problem or bug in the university template for joomla:

    I work on the demo: http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#ja_university

    When I change the position of the module JA Slideshow Lite on the home page
    I move from a “slideshow” to “masshead” the mass menu goes behind the slide. >:(

    Is there a cure?

    Hi

    This is not a bug but it’s related to a specific setting for the mainmenu.css file using a particular value for the z-index

    Can be changed easily changing the z-index value

    Now is not online but just in developer.
    But if you go to a default demo of the template and you change the mod_jaslideshowlite position to masshead is the same.

    The drop-down menu work behind the slide. :((

    Every position has a specific css setting so if you move the ja_slideshow to the masshead position then you can have some problems

    The problem can be solved modifing the css for the mainnav or for the slideshow module to have the slideshow working correctly in that position.

    But actually this is only your specific need

    Hope was clear

    Ok, perfect. The customer joomlart service have publishing the folowing solution:

    Open file: /templates/ja_university/css/template.css
    and add this code:

    .ja-ss-wrap {
    overflow: hidden;
    position: relative;
    width: 100%;
    z-index: 0;
    }

    Thank you very much 😀
