Is there any way to make the slide up of the black bar with whatever text I choose when someone mouses over the image using the Custom HTML Module? See image, what I am talking about is circled in yellow.

July 10, 2017 at 7:38 am #1047189Hi,
Unfortunately, if you use this custom HTML and custom that way, it will also require customization to achieve that.
If you still want to show with JA Masthead module as discussed in this topic, you can try to use this format in Configuration Conditions of JA Masthead module:
[Masshead Itemid="Id of menu item you want to show" title="Hi." ]<h3>Fixel.</br>Rock team of one Designer and one Developer.</h3><img src="url/path/to/your/image/here">Donec pellentesque venenatis elit, quis aliquet mauris malesuada el. Donec uitae libero dolor. Maecenas semper sapien sit amet ortor empor et vulp utate diam hendrerit.[/Masshead]

July 11, 2017 at 3:12 am #1047489Is that a custom HTML module? the black bar slide up when hovering is feature for featured articles on homepage only, it’s not available for module by default. I’m afraid that you have to customize style for it.
July 11, 2017 at 1:16 pm #1047704The block at the bottom of the pic circled in yellow…..No it’s NOT a custom HTML, I followed your previous message and made a "JA Masthead module" as you instructed. The one circled in Yellow is a "JA Masthead module".
How do I get it to have the black bar pop up over the image when I mouse over?
All of the other blocks above it are "HTML Custom" module.

July 12, 2017 at 2:32 am #1047911As I mentioned above, that feature is available for featured article content only, not for module. My above suggestion is for what you want to achieve / screenshot you sent in previous topic.
July 12, 2017 at 2:39 am #1047916I get what you are saying but the problem with making it an article is that it will link to that article. How do I get the article when clicked on to go to a menu instead of that article? Can you give me an option to do it that way?

July 13, 2017 at 8:10 am #1048344I’m afraid that’s impossible as it’s default feature of Joomla article. If you’re not familiar with code, you can hire a developer to style the module to have effect like in articles.
