The correct setting should be

[Masshead Itemid="101" background="images/head.jpg"][/Masshead]

Where: 101 is “Menu item ID” of that page >> http://prntscr.com/57uivg

Result >> http://prntscr.com/57uiyb

My header width (also body width) must be 950 px. There must be margins borth sides(left and right)

You can add this code to the file root/templates/uber/css/custom.css (create a new one if unavailable)

.masthead .masthead-bg {
margin-left: auto;
width: 950px !important;
margin-right: auto;
}

You can add more Menu item id to show the masshead in other pages
