I periodically use Hotspot Shield to browse the net. When I do, it inserts ads to the top of all pages. This includes the popup mce editor when editing an article’s source code.

However, now even after turning it off, the editor popup still shows the ad. I’m thinking it’s probably due to some sort of cache, because in all other pages it has disappeared. Only in the popup code editor does it still show.

Anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Just found out Google Chrome’s browser cache was the main culprit. This devil of a browser wouldn’t let the cache go until I refreshed the popup 5-6 times.
