Hi Everyone

I’ve just been giving a member of staff a bit of training via Skype on using the Media Manager.

She got into the Manager OK, created a new folder, but then clicking on “Browse Files” does nothing. No window for selecting the files appears.

She’s using Firefox under Windows XP. I then told her to try Explorer, just as a test. Everything worked fine. She could browse files, select and upload.

So, my thinking is maybe there’s some preference issue in Firefox (block pop-ups maybe?), but as I’m Mac based, I had no idea how to talk her through switching this off in the Windoze version.

Any of you Windows users got any ideas what could prevent the pop up in Firefox and how to fix it?

AND here on some Apple page also a stable version for MAC OS, should be the same as to the problem she has, or not? The browser should work same as under Windows, so you can figure out what the problem is for the case no one from here knows it:

I come across this problem or similar ones with FF sometimes. It’s almost certainly related to an add-on.

Usually restarting firefox sorts it but if it doesn’t then try disabling all add- ons (Tools>Add-ons) and enabling them one by one to find the culprit.

Thanks both. It works fine in Firefox on the Mac, but not the XP version. I’ll disable all the add-ons first and see if that solves it!
