December 26, 2013 at 3:38 pm #193268Hi Guys,
Have some questions regarding the mega menu. I have looked at a few videos regarding the mega menu steup but I am wondering if all my joomla is not updated as I don’t get the same options in the back end as are shown in the videos.
I am trying to do some redesign on the following site http://www.millionaireasia-indonesia.com over the holidays and would like to have the mega menu displaying like when you mouse over the Destination Guides button on the following site http://www.elitetraveler.com
Is this possible or do I need to upgrade all my systems?
Many thanks Jim.

December 26, 2013 at 5:08 pm #516586It doesn’t look like you have your main navigation set for the mega menu feature.

December 26, 2013 at 5:38 pm #516593Thanks Tom,
That is the video I looked at but when i go in my admin backend I don’t find the same options. Which makes me think maybe I am not running the right version? Or I am looking in the wrong place.

December 26, 2013 at 6:17 pm #516599Check –> Template Manager–Options–Profiles (tab)–Menu Settings–Menu System . . .
Make sure you have selected “Mega Menu” within the choices.

December 27, 2013 at 2:21 pm #516681Hi Jim,
The correct documentation on know to set up the Mega Menu on JA Orisite template can be found in http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_Template_Framework/Navigation. Basically, you just need to do 3 simple steps:
– Create the sub-menu items for the parent menu.
– Configure the dropdown menu using the Parameters (JA Extended) tab
– Select the Mega Menu in Menu settings of profile to get the dropdown styles of our JAT3v2 framework.Remember to clear JAT3 cache after updating backend changes. It is a button on the top right of dashboard.
Note: You also can refer the documentation to configure our template profiles in http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_T3_Framework_2/Guides#Profiles_Panel .

December 28, 2013 at 1:57 pm #516737Thanks Leo,
Will give that a go later. Looks like the information i needed.
At the moment I can’t try it as I have another problem that I cannot work out http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/not-sure-what-i-have-done-but-slideshow-disappeared-and-top-menu-not-working/ which makes it hard to continue making changes.
