March 25, 2012 at 7:54 pm #175385Hi,
The Mega Menu on the site I’m building bounces. On clicking an item, it’ll retract half way, the opacity will change and then it’ll drop down again before going to the link.
Is there a way to cancel out this animation while keeping it a Mega Menu? From what I understand, the menu item arrangement cannot be achieved through setting it as a CSS menu on the template control panel.
Also, the menu slides behind a YouTube video embed. I tried (z-index:-1;) on the iframe but it did not work.
Apologies for double posting this. The site had to go down in the mean time and the menu items that have children are all set to Registered.

March 25, 2012 at 9:46 pm #445597I just had a look at your site in Chrome & Safari on a macbook and the menü is fine. No bounce.
I can’t help you about the YouTube as a: I can’t see any your site and b: I don’t use windows. I had a similar problem with megemenü though a little while ago and changed it’s z-index from 11 to 7 and that cured my problem. No real idea why – it just did! 😉 Perhaps if you make the video live again then someone may be able to assist.

March 26, 2012 at 7:30 am #445666Hi julesm,
Thanks for the link. Firstly my problem was slightly different to what I think you are describing and was to do with the whole of the mainnav cutting a drop-down in half – I edited this
#ja-mainnav { line-height: 1; position: relative; z-index: 11; }
to 7 and it fixed it…BUT….!!
On my mac in Chrome & Safari plus on my ipad your site and the login drop-down work perfectly. I don’t see a problem with it! 🙂
