December 10, 2013 at 9:24 am #514938Hi lemaneo,
There is a difference of menu error on the test sever and product site when viewing the Jomsocial profile page.
1. Test server.
It is just a css conflict that causes the dropdown of Jomsocial toolbar not work. You can solve this issue by putting below codes into the end of templates/ja_social/css/template.css file:
#community-wrap li{
background: none !important;
margin-bottom: 0 !important;
overflow: visible !important;
padding-left: 0 !important;
}Clear JAT3 cache after saving change.
2. Product site
There is a js conflict between our Mega menu and Jomsocial jQuery, however the strange is that the issue happens on the product site only while both product site and test server are running on the same template/ JAT3 plugin and JomSocial version.
In this case, I would like to suggest you to apply the Jomsocial configuration on test server to product site. If it still is not helpful to solve this jQuery conflict, you can backup the product site and I will come back to check out this issue before giving you any suggestions on this.
December 11, 2013 at 10:32 am #515080hello,
Jomsocial toolbar dropdown works fine now
But for menu it’s the same problem with server test.
I’ve upgraded to new jomsocial v3.1 and it’s the same. I’m using firefox v 25.0.1 maybe you are susing another webbrowser.Moreover I’ve disabled modules and plugin into jomsocial pages and it’s the same
best regards

December 12, 2013 at 12:01 pm #515221Hi,
Thank you for replying back. There is a jQuery conflict between our Mega Menu and JomSocial that causes the dropdown menu does not work on profile page of JomSocial. In this case, I will ask our developer to help to check and give you a solution on this conflict as soon as possible. Hope that you can wait us for some time.

December 16, 2013 at 8:00 am #515526Hi lemaneo,
After checking carefully this issue on your website, we found that there is a jQuery conflict between our Mega Menu and VM Vendor component that is automatically loading the jquery.min.js 1.9.1 of Google API and bootstrap.min.js of Bootstrap 3.0. The Mega Menu will not work correctly on the same page that these 2 .js files are being loaded.
The solution in this case is turning off the .js loading of VM Vendor component in its backend advanced settings. The Mega Menu will work fine then.
Note: Normally, the jquery.min.js 1.8.1 and bootstrap.min.js are already loaded from techjoomla_strapper library on the Profile page of your site so that we think turning of the VM Vendor component will not affect the features of this component.
However, if you find any issue of turning this component’s js loading, you can try to download and extract my attached file to templates/ja_social/blocks/ path.
