    Hi,

Im trying to create a login/signup menu item on my mega menu.
I want it to look simular to the “yootheme expo”-signup menuitem.
    http://www.yootheme.com/demo/joomla

This means pushing the menuitem to the right side and possible give it another color.
    Is this possible?

Please follow to the guide in here to learn to load module in menu item

You would like to have a look of the login module same as the “yootheme expo”-signup menu item,

i’m afraid that i wont be able to help you, you can try to find one on the JED http://extensions.joomla.org/search?q=login&start=80
    Thanks

I have been able to figure some of this out for myself.
I’ve created new colored menu-images, created new classes to display the menu-item in the correct color and styling, and are now configuring the mega.js file to set and remove the correct classes on mouseover-etc.

    So far so good.

Only problem is that i cant figure out what file is putting the ‘active’ class on my active menu-item when it is loaded.
I dont want the active class to be set, as I have created my own active-green class to be set instead.
It looks as the mega.js have code that will set the correct class when the mouseclick happens. This is all fine and working correct with me. When the click happens the menuitem will have the correct class ‘active-green’. But then the second later, when the page is actually loaded there is some script running that is adding the ‘active’ class to my item and i then have two conflicting classes. Currently i have used !important to solve this, but this is not a good solution.

anyone knows what script adds active to menu item when page is loaded?

Can you not use !important on your custom class? If that doesn’t work please post a link so I can investigate.

Yeah, it works allright. I just dont like to use !important because i consider it bad practise.
But I’ll accept the solution. I’m afraid i dont have enough time to look for a better solution on this project.

    Thanks anyway!
