My megamenu is showing the same modules across each menu’s sub-menus. All the paramaters in the Advance section of each menu item are correct but the modules for the last ordered menu item (*magazine) is the one that gets put into all the menu items… how can this be solved.

I did have some help earlier from a ticket that submitted that solved the problem of caching and temporarily the problems with my disqus… the cache is working fine, the disqus stopped loading again and the menu, is doing what is described above.

Working with a tech and we solved the problem of the joomla cache. Turning it on used to make the JA Plug-ins not work, but it was an ordering issue that eventually had the JA T3 system plugin as last and the System – Cache plugin as second to the last, with all other system plugins preceding these two.

So please help if anybody knows the reason why all my mega menu items are showing the same modules (those that belong to the last ordered menu item) all across….

    Thanks aman204,
I sent the info to you. There are 3 things that I need accomplished. I seem to only be getting 2 out of 3 no matter what I do:
    1. Cache – whether it’s the T3 or the Joomla native, the site needs some cache because it’s using a lot of processing power and my server is throttling and has shut down several times.
    2. Plug Ins – Disqus, Google Translate, Pop up and Tabs… they work when one of the other two are not working.
    3. Mega Menu – It has just completely disabled. It doesn’t get the right modules, only the last one in the menu order.

If 1 and 2 are working, I have a fast website (excitingly fast, and my menus look great) plugins working, people can disqus, use the popup, tabs, it’s great, but my mega menus don’t give the right models. They give all the same modules.
If 2 and 3 are working, I have a terribly slow website, but the plugins are working and the mega menu does fine. I keep it at this setting the most but it crashes the server and people complain about the site being down or slow.
If 1 and 3 are working I have a fast website. Beautiful mega menu functions that are informative and useful, but none of my plugins work and it makes the site look bad.

This is my dilemma… if I could get all three to work, life would be a dream. I hope you can help. Thank you for trying.

I took the advice of another tech who said to disable the Joomla cache and enable the JT3 Cache… the site is working fine except for the megamenu… it is still doing the same thing.

as you can see these two different menu items, have the modules that should only be loaded into the last menu item “Sports”… and it is the same for all of my drop down menu items…. if I reorder the menu and put another item last, that item’s modules become the modules of all the menu items, so it’s not a problem with my set up, it’s something else that is going on.

I too keep having this problem with the mega menu 6 position, and have yet to find a solution to the problem. It’s been over a month since your last post with no response from tech support. Are you still having the problem?

Yeah the problem still exist. I just disabled, and that’s sad that i had to do that.

    Hi zoemagltd,

Can you please PM me site access? I will check the issue.

    hi zoemagltd,

you can solve this issue just by changing the setting as following:

Instead of setting your modules to only one position you should assign them to different positions, for example assign your Ja bulletins to different position not just mega5 position .
Then you go to the menu item setting >> Parameters (JA Extended) here you select “Submenu Content” to Module positions and select the position of each module here.

I hope you understand what I mean and can do it by yourself.

This solution was rather unhelpful as now all modules set to that specific position (for example, mega6) show up instead.
