I am wondering if one can use the Mega Menu in conjunction with VirtueMart.

My initial inquiry is whether one of the Mega Menu items could be “View Cart” – and integrate a “view cart” function into the dropdown (similar to implementing the “login” function or “contact us” function.

Is this possible and, if so, would anyone be able to provide a “how to” for how to code it?

yes is is possible, in the quickstart replace one of the modid=xx with something like modname=virtuemart_cart and if you need more explinations, you can see this thread here

I replied your question because I already tried it. So if you are using a special third party shopping cart for virtuemart, ofc it won’t work becasue it has another name, so you better go to you module manager, and see what is the module id of your shopping cart, and again replace on of the modid=XX with you cart module id.
Is that easy.
