Hi,

I’ve configured mega menu with placeholders for column titles – like Purity III. These placeholders are currently in the Joomla main menu as text separators (also tried system links to # as per Purity), with menu items as there children.

This looks nice and is a good way to style the mega menu. Problem is, these column headings then show in the Joomla breadcrumbs and also as Level1 menu items in the sidebar menu which is not ideal.

Is there any way to get column headings into the mega menu which don’t have to be part of the actual menu structure?

I got your point but I’m afraid that’s impossible. Because, if you try to hide that heading item, you will not see its sub menu items.a

Thank you. Unfortunately, this limits the application of megamenu quite a bit. A simplified category display as per the demo data will look nice, but not much else. I guess I will try to figure out how to explode and modify the breadcrumbs trail.
