Please see the attached images.

The first is where I have to assign a menu to the menu section and menu type.

The second is where you can see a parameter from within: administrator -> Menus -> Selected Menu -> Parameters (System)
From here you can see what I am referring to needing/wanting to be add.

I thought we solved this issue in this thread.
