Hello,

1- I’m using JA Purity, recently on my local machine..
2- I have updated the JA Purity “Quick Start version” to Joomla 3.3.0
3- and so updated WAMP to version 2.5 with php 5.5.12

Now, I have noticed that megamenu dropdown submenu is not working on “hover””, but it’s workin on “click”.
From Template Manager > Navigation> I have changed “Dropdown Trigger” to “hover”, but still work only when I click not when hover.
I wonder why? Is it a confliction issue because of the Joomla update? or it’s because of something else?

I didn’t install any new extensions.

My apologies for this late response, I did need time to check this bug.

I have checked and compared all the configuration on your site but could not see the difference with our demo. I’m not quite sure what modifications you have made upon your upgrade.

You can try again with steps below:

+ Backup your old site

+ Download and extract Joomla3.3.0-Updates here

+ Copy and override current sources in your site.

Let me know how it goes.

Everything is correct but it didn’t work…. this is strange.
I have downloaded the Joomla3.3.0-Updates link you provided but still the same thing…

I don’t know, if it’s a good idea to re-install the whole site again, but I will do it :((

I’m not sure what you did change to the template. I see the css style of mega menu was not loaded. I just installed Purity III template into your site and set it with faqs menu item. Please check this link: yourdomain/main-subjects/faqs.html, you will see it’s working fine, see the screenshot:

This code was deleted by mistake

class='<jdoc:include type="pageclass" />'>

from /template-name/tpls/magazine.php

and it caused the megamenu was not functioning…

I am having (sort off) the same issue with purity III, but ONLY when as user is logged in to the site.

So when a user is not logged in “Drop Down Trigger: Hover” does work, but as soon as the user is logged in, this does not work anymore and you will need to click on the menu item to have the menu drop down.

Any ideas?

I just solved this problem directly on your site because it’s conflict jQuery between Mega menu with System – StarLite Pretty Photo plugin, I only disabled Include jQuery in System – StarLite Pretty Photo plugin the problem on your site is gone.

You can check it again and let me know if it helps

Please check my website, StarLite Pretty is in conflict with Jshop animation.

I have sent you the new site URL with the login information by PM.

Once you get in the site if you go to the Shop page (and any other page in the shop)
You will see that the pictures no longer have the box effect with the mouse when over the button.

Here`s a screenshot:

This is happening because the StarLite Pretty plugin is turned on (enabled).
