Is it possible to have more than only one megamenu per site?
For example one in main nav and one in sidebar1…

Not sure about the sidebar but yes you can create multiple instances of megamenu

Check out the T3 documentation

Each template is slightly different. The flexibility of T3.

Take a layout i.e. corporate in tpls/ and open it. It will give you the blocks that make up that layout.

So for Purity the nav element (mainmenü) is included in the template block /blocks/header.php.

If you want to add one elsewhere you need to edit the block that covers the area you want to implement the second megamenü.

Check the docs link I gave you and the one TomC has just posted. they explain the structure and after that it is quite easy.
